Hello Spring!!

This last weekend we were greeted with such awesome weather. What a great way for the first day of spring to arrive....not that it lasted long though! This is Idaho weather we're talking about! But while the nice sunny, warm days were here, the Rigby's were outside enjoying every minute of it! We got a lot of yard work done, but of course still have a lot more to do! Friday the kids were all having such fun times on their bikes.

There's always gotta be a spazz in the group...here's mine!

Ms. Scowly was a little irritated because she can't get her bike to move....she always needs a push.

Bradyn was wishing Mom would have tilted the camera the other way just a bit.

Bryndi was thinking the same thing.

Here are some pictures of the "Construction Site." It got it's name because that is what it looks like. There are shovels, rakes, buckets, cars, holes, piles of dirt and kids everywhere! Rowdy and I were outside getting things ready to roast hot dogs, when Britton hollored at us to come and look at Braylie. When we got to the "Construction Site" this is what we saw!

Britton and Bryndi dug a nice big hole to put their little sister in.

Bradyn missed out on the "Construction Site" fun, she was staying with her cousin Treygun.

Rowdy thought it was the perfect spot for naughty kids to go!


And last but not least we were able to roast some hot dogs outside. Just as soon as we got everything ready the wind started blowing real hard, so we debated on whether or not we should just go in the house. We decided to stay out. One minute the wind was blowing, the next it wasn't but the rain started to fall, and then it decided to be calm with a hint of sunshine....but just for a minute! We did get our hot dogs roasted and put in our bellies! We had alot of fun and can't wait for some more warm weather.

Future State Champion

This last Friday Britton had a wrestling tournament at the High School. I never watched much of wrestling when I was in High School, so I don't really know how it all works, but it was so fun to go and watch Britton and his friends wrestle. There ended up being quite a few kids who participated in this wrestling program, which is great fundraiser for the High School wrestlers. Britton was beyond excited. He participated last year for the first time, but he was pretty timid and not quite knowing what to do. Not so much this year. He couldn't wait to get out there and show us what he'd been learning these last two weeks. They wrestle boys who are within their weight zone....so that put Britton wrestling one kindergartner and two 1st graders. Those little boys, even though they're younger than Britton gave him a run for his money! Needless to say Britton won all three matches. Maybe he will gain a little weight before next year! :) When they were all done with their matches, they received wrestling medals. Britton was ecstatic and can't wait for next year.
