I do believe that Spring has finally decided to start making her way to Idaho! However she does like to take her time! The kids and I are getting anxious to get outside and start cleaning up the yard....you know all those surprises that the dogs leave in the yard that have been covered by the snow all winter. I think the kids just want to be out playing and I want to be doing the yard work. This last weekend we added to our petting zoo.....PIGS!! This gives the kids something to do while they're outside!
As of now we have four little piggies. Two belong to us and the other two belong to Rowdy's brother. They are kinda fun but my favorite part about pigs is when they're in the freezer! Mmmm good! This next weekend we will be getting some cute little chicks that one day will go in to the freezer also. So if you want to come to the Rigby petting zoo don't wait too long, cuz if you do you'll have to visit the freezer!
Things have been crazy busy around here these last couple weeks! Last week the kids had reading week at school. It was a fun week with lots of stories, costumes, dinner and other great activites! We have an amazing PTO and lots of great support from parents! The kids absolutely had a blast! Britton has started wrestling this week. As a mom I feel like I need to wrap him in bubble wrap, but he'd look a little crazy out on the mat trying to wrestle! He is so glad to be doing sports again. Baseball is next in line and he's already driving me crazy about getting him signed up. Bryndi is keeping busy with her art classes, achievement day activities and Idaho history projects. Yesterday her achievement day class started an embroidery project, she loves it. And a couple weeks ago they had a pioneer day at school. They dressed up as pioneers and did all kinds of fun activities and even made a pioneer lunch. She's getting excited for 4H this year too. Bradyn and Braylie are not near as busy yet, but they keep me busy with lots of questions and lots of cleaning! They are really getting excited for a new baby.....which could come any day now! I think I'm gonna have more help than what I can handle! :)
